Jacobs was there, but you were in my group. So you did not get to see him:)

First, thanks to Cleonbus for organising the trip

Share my humble shots..

Jacobs - as usual great shots, were we at the same place?

I was shadowing Jacobs and learn: 1. how to TCSS and 2. yes, he was telling me about his $138 B+W ND 10-stop filter (and I also found out how lousy my ND 9-stop filter is)

I try to capture the SUN and end up with this

I try to capture the MOON and end up with this

Need to learn more!!
NEED TO SHADOW JACOBS IN EVERY OUTING!!!

Because I'm shadow man, so you unable to see me..:bsmilie:

#01 & #02 - Looks good!. Like the Yolk.

#03- look bluish to me, on the composition, would prefer some subject on the foreground to enhance the composition.

#04- Good perspective.

Keep up the good job. Cheers!

By the way, what is this?..
yo BRO Jacobs - Was it OOF? like the newer #2?

For Bro Jacobs, will explain - An empty plastic bottle thrown into the sea by One of those environmentally UN-FRIENDLY idiots!!.. How thoughtless of THEM!!!..

BTW, anyone see my nearly empty Coke bottle yesterday? I put on the railing and couldn't find it later? :dunno:

OOF - Out of Focus.

Can I post my already posted picture here? On the the outing? Anyway deathrequim what white balance you use as you say earlier on...and Jacob about the NB thanks for sharing but how do I set or get NB for Nikon D3000

Enough of joking around.. I will try to be constructive :)

You Jason?

me minimialist.. like things to be simple.. some of your shots is a little messy.. toooo many potential subjects :) Like this one.. only slight problem.. good to have photographer as well and also better if the photographer+camera+tripod is not "covered" by the background.. (i.e. stronger constrast between subject and background..

Maybe just post 2-3 pics.. then ask for C & C?

but I'm only a "newbie" - black label.. so just take comments with a pinch of salt - 2-cents worth...

#01 seems to have just a bit short on focus, drawing the eyes attention. Sharpness and colour is great.

I like #03 best if not for the lamppost being cutoff.

Wow! thanks for drop-by given me your valuable mements..;)

Yup! forgot to use CS5 to chop-off the lamppost..:o

Another Shot to share:

[#03]

This is a nice angle bro... :)
10mm still not wide enough to include the lamp-post har? ;)
Personal preference is to tone down the magenta a bit... kinda strong.
