I AM SO GOING TO KILL SOMEONE NOW!
developed my film, everything is empty..

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!

Was supposed to go for the outing but couldn't make it last minute, I'm just curious, how did you develop and come out with no photos? Occasionally, I will have 1 frame on my roll with no image, but never whole roll.

Constructive Comments & Critiques Welcome btw.

Love your #4!

oopss.. pls give constructive c&c

For #3 I feel it would have been better if you went/zoomed closer to what they were doing, the car and the street detracts from the image, or if you used a wider aperture and blurred the background somewhat.

#4, I would've taken it from where the doors were vs. where the wall was. But that's just me.

Photo : #1, #4, #6, #7 and #8
I couldn't figure out what's the objective(s) you are trying to capture in your shots.
No offence but it looks like snapshots to me.

Photo : #2, #3
Able to roughly gauge what you are trying to capture

Photo : #5
Hmm, clouds aren't fantastic so i guess u can crop them out and maybe try to tweak the buildings highlights and/or tones

I quite like this picture.

I think the general idea for taking an architecture is there (not that I am an expert or anything). I guess timing and weather was lacking that day. Possible suggestions is to make it a high-key picture instead and overexpose the picture, thus bringing more details out from the buildings, especially the repeating pattern. Keep it up ;)

I find a lack of strong subjects and focus in your pictures. Technically, can't fault them. You probably had a hard time finding strong focus points to shoot also. However, if you want a picture that BOOMZ, then you need to find stronger subjects.

e.g. #3 - very strong leading lines leading... nowhere.
#1 - good play on bokeh... of no subject.
#5 - can't stand on it's own. Could be better as a B&W or sepia. There is a series of three colour man running which I think makes good subject (bottom right quadrant of #4) :dunno: but these were not used.
#6 - good concept, but somehow that shot just didn't BOOMZ.

Sorry, I am also a newbie but those are my honest thoughts. Given the same situation, I probably wouldn't have fared any better than you.

haha.. gd enough..
#01 thanks.. could not get any subject as its starting to rain.. Do have comments about balancing both side of the building to make it more outstanding..
#05 - sure np.. i will make one with B&W or sepia later..

Appreciate your comments.. will take note of them. haha.. no la.. everybody is learning.. i'm not so good yet.. still trying to learn from all these mistake. am still trying to build up my foundation to make it stronger.. gd to exchange pointer

Ok just my thoughts ar, you know I'm also new.

#1 & #2 is rather odd, the perspective from the ground doesn't seem warranted, there is nothing quite of interest on the ground. For #1, the point of focus being the road is also a tad uninteresting. For #2, though staring at the doorway seems creepy, the presence of an obviously populated HDB flat also negates that effect. I however am not experienced enough to give a suggestion on how to improve on the creepiness factor. I guess a wide angle used at the doorway might help.

#3, my eyes get drawn in from the bottom, and led straight out the top left. Or vice versa. I think for this instance, it would have been better if you could get a perspective from track level. And perhaps B/W , I don't know, I see most of my world through my camera in B/W. :p

Hahaha, I think it's time to check your camera, or if you shoot B/W, develop on your own.
