thats cos, if u have a 17-50, u have already cover 28mm 35mm 50mm.. 85mm is an additional add on.

However, whereas canon or nikkor, the 85mm prime is definitely an ultra sharp lens.

true.. but the DOF for 17-50 is it the same like 28mm, 35mm 50mm etc?
Bokeh?

Bokeh?

yes. 17-50 constant f2.8.

combines 2 lenses 35mm and 50mm together. just that u lose out in the f/1.0 stop, but since its a zoom, u can capture impromptu scenes, sometimes its hard to say something or some accidents or special things you need to capture,

for me, i will get a 17-50 with uwa converter and a 85 1.8 end of this year.

35mm 50mm 85mm sounds good, but can u change lenses as fast as turning the barrel on the 17-50 ?

Bokeh wise, im not too sure, but definitely at 2.8, it does gives bokeh.

need to go through QA test first den QC den can decide..

This one i think no one rents it.Must look for someone using this lens to poison you:devil:

Although 17-50 2.8 is a constant 2.8, it doesn't mean that it gives bokeh easily.

Read more about the term " Bokeh" and use it under different types of situation.

The best bokeh for me I would say is the 85 1.4 from Nikkor, 85 1.8 and 1.2 from Canon.

Today I had a Bokeh shoot today with my shifu, using the 135 f2 L. Bokeh is awesome.

After guidance from my shifu, here's my share on the streets of Little India.

Hope you guys like it.

Critiques and Criticism are WELCOME !

Lets head to the Indian Temple first . . . .

Agree on the part that you can't stop yourself from laughing.
Even when we are no longer there, you can't stop laughing at the thought of that man ranting about his expertise in god and spirtual power :bsmilie:
