I bought 3 sets of it at a rather good price at only S$369 with a $40 Taka voucher haha. O but all pink but thank god all is given as a gift to my mum, wife and sister. They love it alot, as it so easy to use that i no need to spend too much time to teach them on the function. Beside the easy function the cam also boast with a 25mm wide angle, and a tracking system that allow my wife to caught a good shoot of james, my 4 year old son. :p So what did i get for myself? A Tz7 that I feel will get a good image with also support of AVCHD that allow me with less thing to carry when I go oversea. K time to sleep la, ha hope you guys will get a good deal there too, night. :bsmilie:

Hello again! Seriously speaking, I am really thinking of getting some stuffs to enhance my works, although they are just hobbies to me, some really good Photoshop plugins that can really save me huge amounts of time and speed, a good S-IPS LCD panel and a tablet. The amount of time I spent on current post processing really takes a heck of a time from me!

I just realized (probably you knew it a long time ago, and so does everybody else) that if the images were shot in full resolution (e.g. 10 MP) as compared to minimal resolution (e.g. 2.5 MP), during post processing, we are able to pixel peep into the problem areas and brush clean them (I often use 100% hard brush when zooming into pixel size but that takes an awfully load of time correcting a small area, especially with a mouse). When I have to process so many images, I tend to get lazy. That halo you saw there? I could have done that but the thought of cleaning it pixel by pixel really puts my laziness up to the max. So I just did a sloppy job and hope that nobody would notice it or not be bad enough to be brought up... Until you came into the thread... Ha ha ha ha ha!!!

Right now, I have some new ideas I would like to try out in post processing and I will change the way I shoot in order to accomplish that. I often visualize how my final image will be to the very detail as to how I am going to post process them and what kind of workflow I will take up and I will shoot the image with the proper setup according to what I plan in mind for the image.

Not too sure how much you agree with me, I think that post processing is as equally important as photographic skills. I give them 50/50 distribution!

Now that we both have a common like in post processing, I am willing to exchange talks with you on some of the techniques in Photoshop and learn from each other. There has always been a look I really want to achieve in post processing that at current I am still struggling with. And I get so jealous when I see others achieving it while I cannot. Perhaps we can talk over this privately and exchange some ideas and opinions. :)

Well, I've started out as a DI in the beginning, I'm making the shift towards photography, but nonetheless, I do consider both Good DI and Good Photography to be of equal importance as well. ;D

I'm sure we have stuff that we can share in the near future... ;)

So she's the babe that's coming. nice;)

Cannot dispute that, totally agree with you. I hate shopping but it was fun ;)

I really have to thank you for spending your valuable time in keeping M company while I was busy with the shoot preparation that day.

And... Your avatar will make many people jealous...

Really nice pictures! Location, model and photographer are top notch to produce such wonderful results.

I only have 1 nitpick though...hehe (as if we all are experts) :P

The horizon tilting left, right kinda all over the place...I'm not particularly used to seeing so many tilted shots in 1 set so...I feel that it's a trifle overdone.

Hope you don't mind my comments.

Cheers!
:thumbsup::lovegrin:

Simple. Just get M to hold onto some small fireworks and move on whatever pattern she wanted. I just keep the shutter open until she finished moving then I closed the shutter. While closing the shutter, put a flash too.

Mind to share with us the work flow to capture one of those fireworks drawing images?
Like how to control the shutter? Thank you

Very nice photos taken with very nice exposure.
