I was using the Tamron AF 17-50 f/2.8. Some of the photos were shot using flash and some not. During night times, all with flash. :)

Wow.. very nice

Thank you for your comments.

Ha ha ha ha... Wow...

This is my fav of the lot. Love the multiple coloured lights & her pose.

These are some of the most creative pics I've seen recently. Totally enjoyed them.

I thought #3 is cut & paste though. The back & front light don't seem to gel on her body. But it's just me.

I am glad that you enjoyed them. No cut and paste. All shots from camera itself and post processed using Photoshop CS3. Thank you for your comments, they have been very encouraging. :)

Frankly, I have always like your photos, very clean and sharp photos.
Wonder how you can make M's face so outstanding without overexposing and so natural, doesn't seems like flash was used.
Will check out my schedule and hope to "tou shi" from you on that day for the photoshoot if there is opportunity.

Thank you for your comments. Join the shoot and I shall reveal how I did it and let participants try doing it the same replication as a practice. Hope to see you there. :)

Not too long ago, just a day after 1st May (International Labour Day), some of my friends suggested taking a break away from the busy Bangkok roads for a while. A short 1-day trip will be good to recharge ourselves from our busy work.

Among my friends now is cute M. She suggested to go to Pattaya beach and have a day of fun over there. She knew of a location beach where there were not too many people and would be perfect for some fun photos.

Without thinking, I agreed! So off to Pattaya we went in our Mercedes E220 speeding along the motorway! When we reached our location, M wasted no time in getting herself ready for... WET RUSH!!

I could only watch her running towards the sea...

By the way, for those that did not know who M is, here is a recap of her previous photos taken by me about 2 months ago as a test shoot:

Wasting no time, here are some fun photos to share for that day. :)

A nice visual experience seeing ur pics..:thumbsup:
How do you get such nice exposure falling on M? Especially some shots behind brightly lit areas? Exploring portraiture as well here..hope to learn a thing or 2 from u.. :)

Flash. Diffuse your flash until as if there isn't any flash used (optimal) but a lot of times it is hard to achieve that in open area like this one. So just flash it and then use Photoshop to either bring the ambience down or bring up the face. :)

Just want to say that you guys (TS and others here) are amazing. embarassed to say that i have been a "photographer" for a long while now but your standards are really beyond me. great stuff here.
