Great work on TY's bikini set! Great lighting control you have here! I'm sure you have more good stuff!

Just a suggestion bro. These are truely great shots. However, you may want to consider some of her bikini photos not done using this Dave Hill type of work flow. This may give your series more variety. Don't be mistaken, you have already achieved remarkably using this work flow, and the photos you have shown here are exceptionally great, but in case you fall into the abyss of the DH's style, you may want to try something else.

I'm also fighting this war myself, but not with DH. It's a style thingy. You know what I mean.

Thanks for liking the images. Must be Tingyi lah, now you are bleeding... All her fault... ;p

nice colours overall and great modeling work from tingyi.

but her feet in #12 and #17(looked flat and elongated) look really weird. perhaps you might want to look into it the next time? =)

Wah... Virgo bro, you hardly write so long in my threads leh... This is a first time! Ha ha ha ha!

Agree with you. In fact I was asking myself the same question of what kind of post processing style am I gonna use for this set. I actually flipped a coin and it landed on the side that I dedicated to use this style. Anyway, usually bikini photos are not meant to be post processed this way lah. Since I flipped the coin, I just follow lah.

Not all photo are to be post processed this way. Agree with you, bro. And thanks a lot for reminding! :)

Yes, Tingyi worked very hard for this set of photos. Have to give credits to her. She had to bear with me asking her to do this and that and ran up and down (only she knows what I mean) and she HAPPILY did what I asked... Wow...

Thanks for the note. Those are effects and characteristics of a super-wide angle lens. Some people like it, some people don't. I think it is more of an acceptance than a flaw. As the world advances, more and more people are exposed to wide angle distortions and more and more people are slowly accepting them. I am not saying that these distortions are good or bad, just standing on a neutral point of view. But ask for my liking, yes, I love it and I can accept it.

Once again, thanks for your comments. :)

Hmmm... I don't know if the "dave hill effect" with the over-smoothened skin really works for me...

But if that's your style, then good job

Great photos:thumbsup:

Definitely bleeding from 18 cuts.
