wow.... amazing...
Just luv 'em all... ^_^

excellent.. as usual...
btw, no more D90? ;)

excellent work as usual!!! next time i be your assistant ok? ha ha! i like especially those beach shots! wish one day i will have the chance to do some beach shots

just my 2 cents worth... some pics with folding line at her waist may not be to the liking of models... learned from my china models friends who generally try very hard to avoid those lines...

Dont really like the makeup from #1 to #5. But other than these 5 pictures, the rest are awesome. And man, that was indeed a long photo shoot! ha

Thank you all for the comments. Toshiro, yes, still D90 but this D700 was a borrowed one. :p

Hmm... the first few shots seems to have a tint of blue from the flashes set up. The skin tones don't look natural to me and a bit underexposed. Overall lovely model and backgrounds, nice shots especially on the sun set beach shots.

Just curious, how do you shoot directly facing the sun, any flash used? or HDR used?

Impressive works!

You've got several themes all covered & creative use of lightings/gels etc then of course your style of post production. Kudos kudos....

U guys should try out & trust me, it takes more than a few sessions of getting the right blend of lightings u see here.

Thank you both for your comments. All the images here look okay on my screen and even on my 12 x 18 prints... Beach shots were done as what you see on the images. Flash is definitely a must to balance the light. And thanks NineEleven for the praises. :)

Just a quick comment... the Sunset shots were great, the rest is so-so by your high standard.

Excellent series Zeckson.. esp the sunset shots:thumbsup::thumbsup:

Beautiful series again Zec!

Hi Zeckson, veri powerful series. Reali love all of them.
Again i am not into portraits. Not sure is it right to comment.
Find this shot background is abit messy. Sorry for that.

No problem Gary. Don't feel shy or ashamed. Everybody is free to pen their views. When I make this entire shoot, there are certain things I want to know and try and see and experiment. The first few images, I don't bother about the background. That's not my main concern. I have something else in mind. To most, they are messy backgrounds. Some even said shooting angles not flattering. Some said skin tone too pale. But that's okay. That's just on the surface. They will never see what I am seeing and never understand why I make the decision to do the images there.

Actually, I had went to this location for more than 4 times to do my location survey and I had stayed in this place overnight a few times too just do observation. In the end, for the first few images, I chose this background at this time with this outfit this hairstyle this make-up this look this pose and this post processing. :)

Thank you very much for your comments, Gary. :)

Okok, ya agreed with u. Every photographer have their own style and mind for their model and subject.
Guess i left out that point before i ask u. Eventually very well done. Love your photos alway.
Hope to meet up with u one day and learn portrait from u.

Meeting up is just a phone call or a MSN message away. I am in Singapore now. :)

lighting, u got to learn how to control your light and where the shadow falls.i see shadow all over her face.
skintone, they are overly smoothened- leave some texture to make it natural
posing, those w clothes are posed in a weird manner.

Thank you very much for your comments. Different people see things very differently. All that you have said are valid. However I am a person who likes to do things very differently. I like to break rules. I am not from old school where people usually follow certain guidelines. I am one person who likes to venture into what many people see as wrong. That is my style.

Shadows on the face? Yes, I am fully aware of that and that is exactly what I want to see. I delibrately place my lights in such a manner so that those shadows are visible. Skintones are fine. They are not overly smoothened. Do not judge what you see on your screen. The skin tone looks fine on my 12' x 18' proofing prints. Details are visible. Images posted are not specially reprocessed than what are printed.

Posing, well, I don't know what is your definition of weird though. To me they are pretty good and I like them. Again, I do not say you are wrong, just that we both (as well as with many others) see things differently. I like green and you like red. I like BMWs and you like Mecerdez. Both of us like different things but we do have one thing in common -- We both love to shoot. Ha ha ha ha.

If you ask me if I like these images or not? Frankly I would say 70%. Some of the things here are not the output that I had wanted it to be. I am still missing something in them and I have found out what it is. When I looked back at these images and recalled my execution, there are some components missing but I was not able to notice when I first planned the execution. Now I know and that's where I learn. Expensive lesson though. Ha ha ha ha. I agree with your rating of "Average" but my agreement is definitely not on the things you mentioned here. :)

AhV bro had ever mentioned you to me some time back though. I have seen some of your works posted too. :)
