...won't the video be shaky since you are running ? I would assume that when you are running your legs tend to jerk when you run so wouldn't the video be jerky as a result ?
Q2. At 1:42(video showing the red house rotating) to 1:46 (where the temple "rotate"), how do you hold the glidecam and move so slow to capture the timelapse ? Would your arm be tired holding the glidecam ?
Thanks
Ok thanks, so what you are saying is we need to practise to run and land softly/smoothly ? What is the good technique you referring to ? Or perhaps can help me to link to some video/youtube that can teach me the technique ? ThanksThat's the point of using a stabiliser, to smooth out the movement. It takes mucho mucho practice to develop the necessary technique & skill to have good control over the movement you want out of it. If you don't have good technique, yes, the video will still be jerky when you run.
Yes, I thought it was a hyperlapse too. Can dfkjhdbdf confirm ? ThanksLooks like hyperlapse sequences. Doubt the glidecam was used. Likely a tripod.
Google 'hyperlapse' if you're not sure how they're captured.
Thanks Petty,
Q1. I would also like to know is that when you use the Glidecam HD2000 after balancing, when you do filming on a person running so you also have to run with the glidecam, won't the video be shaky since you are running ? I would assume that when you are running your legs tend to jerk when you run so wouldn't the video be jerky as a result ?

2. With magic lantern, I set the camera to take picture every 1 sec, then swing the glidecam around the places of interest. In post, I added camera blur and overlay a few photographs together to make it seem like long exposure. Then I used Davinici Resolve to stablise the footage with its tracker.

interesting technique, i thought about doing hyperlapse this way, never got down to trying it myself 'coz don't know how to use stabiliser ... good show =)

Second that. Definitely sounds way less troublesome than moving a tripod. Gotta try it sometime once I level up my stabilizer skills ;p
can bring me along when you try? =D
i think sometimes still need tripod, coz the shutter speed for timelapse need to be longer to cater for the blurry motions (especially ppl and cars) to look nicer
What exactly, is Magic Lantern ?
Thanks
