that is such a relief to hear that, i can easily clock 5k per trip oversea, each year should have about 4 of such trips, plus some casual local shots, i think my cam can easily reach 20k shutter count per year.

Just use lar. Scared wat? From wat i know, the oly cameras are over engineered.

Agreed. No point stressing yourself over the shutter count.

Last time film, people stress as not to overspent on buying films. Now digital, people scared of shutter count.

Cathay photo has stock for silver. Left about 6pcs.

Bought mine from TK Foto, silver SLK just arrive in the afternoon. Forgot to ask about PWP, any bro can share the details? Thanks.

how much you bought for the SLK, any idea how how is the DLK?

i heard they selling at $1250 for SLK, $1450 for DLK. so ex.

where is the best price now for DLK silver?

Is it? I only called & asked if have stock.
Maybe $1250 is not cash payment?

no stocks for DLK. I paid $1199. No secret, TK Foto prices are openly displayed, just save the brothers some trouble to go down n find out. That said, I find TK Foto to be very fair in their prices, can play with their demo pieces, no pressure to buy.

Those who r interested to get the silver slk let me know. I reserved a set at MSC but last
min going to Msia today.
PM me yr name & I'll inform them. Thanks.

Planning to get the e-p3 TLK, check and found is around $1450, SLK is $1190, so the price i am paying for the 40-150mm is $260.

THe problem is TLK has no stock, hence may have to settle for SLK and buy the other lens separately.

anyone know what is the price of the 40-150mm kit lens if buy separately.

About $400. Much cheaper to get it in the TLK. Also don't know if you could get the latest R version on it's own at the moment or not. The new version's updated exterior looks better than the old one.

sorry, i am very new into M43, what do you meant by R version, any difference?

anyone managed to buy E-P3 TLK silver? call a few shops and seems like one white and black have TLK.

The R version for both kit lenses were released together with the new PEN cameras and are supposed to be designed to work together with these cameras in achieving the so-called fastest AF speed in the world.

I believe that optically they are the same as the older versions. The main difference is cosmetic. The new lenses have a nicer looking and updated exterior design. See comparison below (I have both lenses)...

Although it was claimed that they are designed to focus faster with the new PENs, I find that the old version of the 40-150mm focus just as fast as the new one on my EP3... meaning I can't detect any noticeable difference in focusing speed between the 2 lenses.

If you buy the 40-150mm separately, you would get a better lens end-cap instead of the kit lens type of cheapo end-cap for the $100+ price difference though. ;)

Wow the silver looks AWESOME! I got the old black non MSC version one when i bought the epl1 TLK last year.

That's why I won't consider the black kits as the new black lenses still look cheap compared to the silver ones.

Is the new ones smooth when zooming? I find the black ones (I had 2) tight
