thenoob said:I'm in HK now and most places are retailing at HK7290 (approximately S$1150) and comes with a 8G SD card, tripod, case and extra battery! However HK carries the SLK only and most places I asked mentioned that TLK is not out yet. And most of the shops have the popular silver!
Not sure if I should get the TLK from Singapore or just get the SLK here.
The fl300r costs about $229 but for $280 u can get the fl-36r which is a much better flash with more control.
tlk is twin lens kitread throught the whole thread and saw someone saying buying E-P3 with PWP option of TLK and SLK. what is that TLK and SLK?
I am considering getting a E-P3.
tlk is twin lens kit
slk is single lens kit

just to check, does E-P3 has any shutter count limit like what DSLR is having? I think there is no shutter count limit since there is no mirror flapping, correct me if i am wrong.
I never see stated though it should have since shutter count is with regards to the shutter rather than mirror flapping, its like the distance driven count on a car, nothing to do with how dirty the car is, if its not driven much, it can be extremely dirty, I seriously gotta improve on my comparisons hahahah, but you get what I mean, right?
so no shutter count?
so no shutter count?
As long as it is a mechanical shutter, it will have a life.
Probably similar to entry level DSLR shutter life, approximately 100k I guess....anyway, you will probably be changing camera before you hit that figure or even when you haven't reach 1000 shutter count, Pana and Oly already came out with new cameras...
Mirror assembly is another mechanical device which has it's own life span too which mirrorless cameras needs not worry about since it has no mirror...
I did say should have shutter count lol
True, though I think it'd be 50k rather than 100k though
i see, thanks.
but what happen if reaches the limit? DSLR if reached the highest limit still can replace shutter for a price.
As I said to some of my friends, most of the things built by man can be replaced, shutter is no exception, of course again at a price, but I've only known 3 people who actually use their camera long enough to exceed, and even when exceed, the camera keeps going on and on, as what Ouverture said, you may have changed by then, so worry not, just shoot happily
