Any movement on the E-PM1's local price? I'm really thinking on wether to go for this or the E-PL3. I'm actually liking the simplicity of the controls for this one.

Hi i just got an EPM-1 today. Can i need to register it online for the warranty or i just need to hang onto the receipt?

You are one lucky guy! Just hang on will do, but IIRC, not sure if still have it not, register online got extra 3 months warranty, you might want to check on it online

Ebay? Olympus should carry it if its available for sale

Olympus has worldwide warranty.. so should be ok. can call the Olympus CSC to check..

the focus point of all the 3 camera should be the same instead of 11 (epl3 and epm1) as per mentioned in the comparison table?
i check out the olympus website and realised all 3 cams have 35 focus points

yah i believe the EPM1 has 35 AF points too.. when i click on the focal points, it showed me a grid of 35 squares.
If its true maybe we lose out on the LCD resolution only and the extra convenience of the dial?

yeah, seems like in term of IQ and fast auto focus, epm1 is comparable to ep3.
i'm settled for a epm1
dont need all the additional functions provided by ep3

yeah, saw some video demos of touch screen, great stuff.
but a few hundred bucks more for ep3 ... i'll give it a pass as of now

Agree the touchscreen is damn cool. But the price difference dun really justify to me. BTW, the EPM1 Af is very fast!
