Thanks spidey89!
As i thought white colour is plastic material and the silver is made of metal.
Will head down to comex next week!
btw, what kind of lens should i choose? Pancake or the normal zoom lens?
Im not sure why alot like to use pancake coz cannot use zoom and only advantage is slimmer?
I have no idea what Olympus does for the exterior of the body, but I do know the silver is like, a coating over metal, reason why I know is cause my E-P1 has scratches and its silver hahhaha, and I GUESS, that the white colour on the white PENs are just like, a coat, which probably don't weigh much either way, underneath the white exterior, I believe is still metal, hence the similar weight, gotta keep it consistent as well, can't be 1 body be plastic and the rest metal hahahha
As to which lens to choose, its a very personal thing, many use pancake because, as you've said, its slimmer, as well as being brighter hence faster, cannot zoom is not exactly saying a limitation, it helps the person learn the limits, like if you want to shoot without looking, how would the 20mm look like? its compression, its distortion bla bla bla, the more you shoot with a fixed focal length, the more you'll know about it, plus it trains your legs hahahah (a bit lame la) because it forces the person to walk, some prefer zoom as a coverage of different focal length
But as i've said, its personal, I'm still using my 17mm pancake because there are no bright zooms available yet, as well as the fact I pack my E-P1 in a place where there is not much space for zoom lens so I'm stuck with my pancake, and honestly... I still have no use for a zoom lens on my PEN except when I'm shooting video, which is hardly these days, so my only advice is to decide for yourself, both lenses are great, but which suits you more is another question, personally, if you're the type that just shoot for fun, probably the zoom lens will suit you just fine
