SLR Revolution have moved to #04-18 in Funan. I hv been there a few times. Its a very big shop, they hv a wide range of tripods, bags., professinal lightings etc. I normally look for ray and hanwei. Very gd price and excellent service. :thumbsup:

Yes. This way, you can chop the tourists, people who never do their homework, unsuspecting mothers buying presents, etc... At the same time, you can also serve the people who do their homework and know the market. Beautiful strategy! :thumbsup:

I did not know that they operate a chop shop on the side, so it's no fault of mine. Now that I know, I will not buy from them again. They are not that cheap lah... only sometimes a bit cheaper. I don't need this on my conscience.
I bought most of my gear from Cathay Photo. With equote, Cathay has been cheaper than SLR Rev so far. Anyway, if Cathay is priced higher, I just reply the email telling them their competition's prices, and most of the time they will just match it for me because I am a good customer.

Sad and angry that such a horrible shop exists to chop even our own members here.
Even worst is that even if all our members don't do any business with her, she may still thump her nose at us as she may earn more than enough from chopping off all tourists going into her hell hole shop. :sticktong

What is worse, they set up another friendly shop for people who do their homework, so that they can cream off the ignorant, while at the same time profit from people who are more savvy. So cunning... :devil:

usually will, once i go there, they will try to match
however one thing i dun like about CP is the old uncle at there, once i just asking around for the nikkor 24-120, they match TK pricing but i just say oh, just checking price, he immediately turn black keep shouting "wa lao, just how much you want to buy? consider for what? what you want?"
some customer keep looking at me & i felt malu, not stepping into CP again...
