Bali rejoiced (H series)

#52 it seems to me that my thread here is getting from bad to worse.... hope i can salvage myself with some better pictures.

here is one of the sky at kuta beach within 5mins after sunset (sun disappearing from horizon). the post sunset glow is shown as rosy red underside of the clouds and the bright plastic yellow turns dim with a tinge of red-soil brown.

#53 i feel bad both for the tourist and the locals. not that we didn't want to spend, but there are too many of the people selling the same thing that many of us do not need. it doesn't feel good to say no, but it isn't good to say yes too.

#54 a little girl who was playing this instrument at kertha gosa. it is extremely hot those days and even the shady shelter is a little warm. but the little girl looks quite comfortable in her little dress. she does look a bit like the child actress, zheng zhiyun (megan tay) who starred in homerun.

A tiring self-trip with lots of frustrations dealing with drivers and not as budget easy as thought. worse of all, was assaulted by a monkey from high ground, took my spectacles, jump onto the cliff, wear it for a second, bite it and broke it into half......, which totally destroyed my trip at pura ulu watu and no dancer performance to view, luckily i have a spare spectacles back in the hotel.

Similar thing happened to me there. First time I was in the middle of shooting when the %&#$ monkey snatched my specs. One of the natives there got them back for a bunch of money. Second time it happened, I was holding on to my specs with one hand, other hand on camera on tripod. Tried to grab my specs, did not work, tried to grab camera on tripod, tripod too stable to move. :) All the while these bunch of female Japanese tourists were screaming their heads while watching.

i would avoid another situation of monkeys on high ground. u simply look less intimating on you are on low ground.

#55 a quiet corner of the restaurant bambu bali II in ubud. was happy with the effect of the glare on the photo, hence left it unedited.

Sorry I'm a little "delayed".
What lens did you use to take #06?
I like your #57, showing the sexy transluscent trousers...

Thanks for the info.:D
Was #57 PS? The sand actually looks more beautiful than the legs.
why are you only revealing the face and the feet of the beautiful model?;p

white balance is altered to enhance the colors. texture is unchanged. is that what u r asking??

becos she is pretty and i ain't far away within 15m moreover in the open, so i was shy. i only took the shot of the shadows with her legs in. She subsequently initiated an approach and invited me to take some proper portraits of her. i have other shots of the upper torso but did not do a whole body shot as i do not have a good 21-49mm range (mine is 10-20 and 50mm). i wasn't trained neither comfortable with model portraiture, so i only took a few quick shots. in fact, she does all the posing and i just pick a quick angle instead of fidgeting around with different vantages, probably more important for whole body shot.
