Wah lau, you guys huh!
Actually IR PP is pretty straight forward one.
Aiyah, I don't have to say, I am sure you all know it's all about masking and pushing the slider, mask again and push slider again...
... and keep repeating this until you have aga aga the final result lor.
It is always the first step that one must take to push beyond the boundary.
Of course, pure traditional IR with little colours is still the Gold Standard, and every IR shooter should start with that.
But I think I am taking the easy way out by pushing the acceptable limits of colouring.

Hello cherinyl.
Thank you for your compliments!
We were using EF-S 10-22mm Ultra Wide Angle lens and Tokina 10-17mm Fish Eye lens, on both our Canon 20D IR modified cameras respectively.

Thank you so much for your compliments, dexpense!

I have come to learn that shooting IR of paddi fields really poses a great deal of challenge to me.
This is because the expansive sheet of white that I obtain directly from the camera gives me a flat picture.
No colour, no contrast, and no depth.
Thus I often struggle to inject all these elements into the picture.
Here, I was merely pushing the limits of colouration.
A little bit out of style, it is. But I think it is always interesting to experiment...

This is a simple little kampong-like scene in one of the small villages in Tabanan.
