Hi Red Dawn,

I think Yip Chieng Trading carries the Billingham brand. The same agent for Quantum stuffs. Off-hand I cannot remember the number to call but the owner is Mr. Chan. Very friendly fellow.

I am also thinking of getting a Billingham Hadley for my RF. Can't decide between it and a Domke.

Where Can I find out where is this Yip Chieng Trading? cos I original thought that theres only 2 place that sellings billingham.

Anyone looking for small yet big enuf can go K13, they clearing this Blue Tamrom made bag at $10 only. Quite nice. I just bot 1 yesterday, can put a SLR and 2 lens.

Hi morganoh,

You can call Mr. Chan from Yip Chieng Trading at 6844 7791. But I think he is off on the weekends.

He normally drives around in a van with his goods. When I bought a Quantum adapter from him, he delivered it right to my block. He would have sent it to my door step if he had my unit number. That's GOOD service.

He gave me a nice catalogue for Billingham bags.

Regards.

Ok thanks, so he is freelance right? Does he has a show room?

How is his billingham price compare to the other 2 shops in Penisular area?

I dun have a digicam leh, find time pass by and feel yourself see you
like or not. $10, take it as buying 4D and u have a bag that last for long time instead of hope gone after weekend - hehe.

i use 2 types of bags.

one would be a Lowepro Omni Traveller which is small, stylish, top loading and not expensive.....it can hold my G2 with 28, 35, 45 and 90 plus one flash........AND one small digital camera like the Ixus 400 or A80 with no problem

the other would be a Lowepro Toploader 70 AW in which I stuff the 28 and 90 at bottom and the G2 with 35 or 45 attached on top. I like this Toploader for travelling as it allows Lowepro accessory bags to be attached/snugly strapped to its sides. It has harness for you to carry like backpack and sling to carry like sidebag.

I have done this before.....2 lenses in bottom of Toploader....a medium format rangefinder (fuji 690) on top half of Toploader.....Contax G2 with a lens attached in one accessory bag and a Canon G5 in the other accessory bag.....cf cards, film filter all in the Toploader's front pocket......a little heavy like this but....this combo can really pack it in with little need to really dig out stuff since its 3 modules combined into one.....cheap too

Would you believe me if I told you that I simply carry my M7 & 35/1.4 cross-shoulder slung under my jacket and have my 90/2 in one of my jacket pockets... no bags!

I believe u, but i'm not into wearing a jacket and walking in the 30 degree heat that is the tropical weather of Singapore :nono:

Went down to CP to check out the Domke 5XB but they don't have any stocks of it. One of the sales guy mentioed that the management for Domke is going through some changes and they don't know when got new stocks.

Settled for a Hadley Original today. Nice bag to fit my RFs. Don't look like a camera bag and still got plenty of space to put my other misc stuffs.

No, I did not buy it from them.

So where did you buy it from and for how much? Care to share?

Hi chgoh,

I bought it from Mr. Chan from Yip Chieng Trading. I can't post the price I bought for, due to the special deal I got from him.

I really like the material that they use for the bag. Looks exquisite and smooth to touch.

I use a domke f-803, black.

This bag is slim and looks business-like enough to carry everyday to work, even. it fits my 2 leica m6, 4 lenses + sf-20, film and stuff. Really handy bag and easy to shoot fast from.

I use a Hadley Small for my Leica M6, SF20 flash, Contax T3 (with SA-2). It still have plenty of rooms for films, blower and etc.
I heard that Billingham price are going up soon (in April) due to Euro. So if you intent to get one, grab it before the price hike!
