actually you can ask the couple to arrange to 'ta pao' takeaway most of the dishes for you, just ask them to arrange with the captain! ;) you may not eat much if you have the seat.

Don't forget, hope they are 'automatic' enough to give you a 'hong pao' / 'ang pow' to cover some of your transport & other expenses (not sure if this is practiced in the Land of Smiles though :) :) :)

I usually go there 15-30 mins earlier, order room service (if couple in hotel) or order some ala-carte (if couple in restaurant). Fill up stomach first then started working. :D

After the shoot, if couple nice enough, they'll offer another room service or ala-carte. ;-)

Wow, you are pretty thick-skinned (or maybe the couple is very obliging) to order ROOM SERVICE! Or are you paying for it yourself? :dunno:

After the wedding dinner, I think the couple would have other things on their mind & to do if they are still capable...... :bsmilie:

This is of course with prior agreement with the couple lah. :D

Everything must be conveyed. Communication is the KEY.

Room service need not be very expensive. It depends on what you eat lah. I can order a plate of simple fried rice and get my dinner settled right? I bring my own water too.

Everything doesn't happened that night. A lot of things can happen during hoenymoons. :bsmilie:

I will shoot for free....if I have some free time. Unfortunately time is money and money doesn't buy time.

Hi, I am interested in your offer, I ahve a simple SLR no Digital SLR. I am keen to learn from the professionals and hope to establish a career as a freelance photographer.

I do not have any work as I had not done any professional photography work before. But since you want to gauge the authenticity of my work and the first project will be done for free, I guess you do not really need to see any work, right?

Ok. I think that by now the message is very clear. Please refrain from adding any more spice to this thread and allow the thread poster to give clarification.

Am astonished with the number of post since my last visit... ;)

Some clarifications here....

This post is certainly not meant for those professionals or semi-pros who charge exobitantly or anyone who already have a vast porfolio to showcase, but rather for those new to photography and who are keen in establishing their own portfolios. The projects that we will use as a gauge are mostly down-to-cost projects which price I shall not mention here so as not to hurt the pride of the professionals here. We provide customisation of wedding photography/videography packages for couples who are low on budget and assist those low-income couples to start their family without having to pay exobitantly for a piece of remembrance.

To answer the question of whether next project will be called upon will strictly depends on factors like quality of work, EQ, feedback and the attitude of the photogs.

For those less-experience photog who have pm us, we will try to arrange for a meetup and make arrangement for the trial shoot asap, approx. 2-3hrs per pax. He/she will start as an apprentice and follow a more experience photog to have a feel of commercial shoot. For those more experience professionals who expressed their interest, we will try to work out partnership details with with you. Once we have come to an agreement, you can concentrate on shooting and leave all advertising and paper work to our care.

Unless its a fully paid assignment, we cannot promise any fee or whatsoever. Usually there will be ang bao or meal provided nevertheless. But hey, didn't some of you guys who replied actually paid for some studio shoot or shooting opportunities in the past?? No offence. Think of it this way, we are offering shooting opportunities without having you to pay.

Hope I have given substantial explainations above to stop further speculation.

Moderators, pls assist to ensure that.

Thanks and good luck everyone!

Yeah, but we shoot what we want, how we want. Does it mean now I get to shoot for free, I can do the same? :dunno: So if that's the case you don't need to see our portfolio already lor.

Do you charge the low income couple for providing customisation of wedding photography?
