Back focus problem in D70

Did you have to show the waranty card? Haven't send mine in yet!!!
 

I just tested with a cheapo Sigma 18-50DC (that pretty new lens). Absolutely no backfocus at all. Funny, i have not even gone for calibration yet. Other lenses are ok, just that my tamron 28-75 has a slight backfocus at 28mm, but really very slight and you wouldn't notice in everyday situations (coz 42mm effective does not have very narrow DOF anyway). Now the sigma 18-50 and 50/1.8 are tack accurate in AF.

Wonder if i should go for calibration. I originally believed that it's the body, since they just plug in a cable at the bottom and pump in data. Now what? :dunno:

No need to send in, just bring along your reciept & warranty card (filled or unfilled is ok)
 

Mann.. think mine have the problem too. Any advice?
