B+W ND110 77mm Filter

that is still fine...

can you imagine the pain and anguish one suffers when the light changes, when you started to stack and meter it was telling you f/8 4 minutes would be fine. so you think "oh, the light's dying, let's compensate and add half a stop more and make it 6 minutes at f/8"..

then after 12 bloody minutes (since my camera can't seem to switch long exposure NR off.. 6 minute exposure, 6 minute waiting time).. you get an underexposed image still.

the joys of long exposure photography are boundless. :bsmilie:

:bsmilie:

I seconded.. too fast the eggyolk had disappeared, i have screwed the filter then its gone..:bsmilie:

Thinking of stacking ND110 with ND110 with ND400... :dunno:
Never try, never know. I think going to be something funky though.

Hmmm... Got some question regarding the PL+CPL DIYed ND .. How do you actually know how many stop it reduce at what angle ? U mares it on the filter? If not how are u going to calculate the proper exposure time???

29 stops!!!!! wah, even your widest aperture at base ISO will take 10 minutes for a shot?? (estimate)

preliminary study, NDx400 gives cooler image due to extreme blue cast and ND110 gives warmer image.

I had capture two different subject, thus it is not valid for comparison. I will need to shot a same subject for apple to apple comparison...

Only once I encounter banding; where I couple the NDx400 with CPL and the CPL is half rotated causing banding.
