i am always looking to find alternatives to B+W.. no doubt the Hoya is good also but what i dun like about them is they are harder to clean, the glass is hold by some spring clips (encounter some Hoya filer with glass can rotate freely) and the rim of the filter is not brass which is more prone to stuck to lens.
I still get good hoya filter that is for mine cheaper lenses else conform B+W for my more expensive lenses..
