As a reference, the following shows a comparison between a 77mm UV 010 MRC Brass and a 77mm UV 010 Non-MRC (non-brass too) that I owned. Both are original from B+W. The one you are purchasing is made of Brass(left side of image). Do take note that brass type is heavier than aluminum(also known as alloy). In fact brass is alloy and not aluminium. Brass ring filters tends to be easier to remove from the front of your lense (users experiences may differ).

As a reference, the following shows a comparison between a 77mm UV 010 MRC Brass and a 77mm UV 010 Non-MRC (non-brass too) that I owned. Both are original from B+W. The one you are purchasing is made of Brass(left side of image). Do take note that brass type is heavier than aluminum(also known as alloy). In fact brass is alloy and not aluminium. Brass ring filters tends to be easier to remove from the front of your lense (users experiences may differ).
