i asked courts bt timah, they say can pre order..but price is 4488, is causeway point also selling at 4488?

Weird.. I ask Courts in Funan on D800 on Friday.. they say they no longer carry this model? Not sure if he person heard me correctly..

That means the sale guy mis-heard me liao.. sigh.. next time must say in slow mo.. "Gott Stockkkkkkk for Nikonnnnnnn DDDD 888 Hundredddd" and not "D800 have?"

Got mine as well... WOW.. now it takes me three times as long to move the files from the cards to the harddisk and convert to DNG and 1:1 preview!

100 images.. start the import.. go take a snack.. drink some coffee.. read some clubsnap posting... write this posting.. continue to type this.. only 1/2 through the 1:1 preview generation!

You using USB 3.0? Big diff in speed from USB 2.0.

I am a mac user.. no USB 3.0... but once the files are in.. the speed of processing in lightroom 4 quite similar.. only need to wait a bit longer for the files to finish loading

But really.. the reviews are right.. shutter speed to be min twice the normal 1/focal length to get a acceptable sharp image.. and 36mpx.. really can crop the hell our of it! So can just shoot and capture the moment then think about composition later.. and still have tons of mpx to play with.

16GB the cam report about 199 RAW 14bit lossless compression images (real world can save a bit more than 199).. looks like need to spend more on memory card liao..

My 32GB takes 471 shots under 14bit lossless RAW and still have space for 186 according to the camera despite it says 399 when the cards are empty...

The size really depends on the photos you take, don't be trigger happy but don't need to worry too much about capacity..

The Singapore good price everywhere is SGD 4488 with 7% tax. You can get your tax refund when you leave Singapore.
