Sumone whom i known in Clubsnap managed to buy it slightly under the RRP. S$4.3++maybe. although he's not on the first interest list for the shop. :)

I think it doesn't lies on Nikon sg too... They still have a mother before grandmother Japan....

I think you are right about that.

Anyone has any update on price of this camera? I may be jumping ship soon :p

After more than 3 years of waiting, I'm back in the market.

Lo and behold, my good old Lords Camera at Lucky Plaza seems to have disappeared. Where are they and where's my good old buddy James ?

The entire crew is still there. Just pop in.

Anyone have any idea in when will be the next shipment?

well, in some better news, Nikon USA is having a stock take next week so shipments there would be paused... which could mean more cameras for everyone else... :)

of course, that is assuming Nikon Singapore is not doing likewise... if they are also doing stock take then too bad ;p

Lol, what's there to stock take? So little stocks of everything!?

Haha joking they do have stock to take. But not sure if it's this time of the year. Only know NSC will be close for Good Friday.

Ergonomics
First thing you notice is the camera is lighter – about 100g, according to the specs. However, I personally find it not quite as comfortable as the D700; my fingers were cramping after use. This is because the lower section of the grip is thinner – not sure why, perhaps their testers had small 4th/5th fingers, or perhaps Nikon just really, really wants you to buy the vertical grip.
