I'm wondering if it's wrong for dealer to sell at higher than SRP? Might not be a CASE case but can we report to NSC?
[SUP][/SUP]Bally Photo in Funan have stock D800. The salesguy quoted me 5k for it. Tsk tsk. He thinks I am tourist![]()
I am at CP now. $4199 but not taking preorders. Waiting list of 50-70 people according to them
But we are not in HK. reasonable will be the SRP at 4488 sgd. but 5k sgd? not reasonable. Shops are taking advantage of the supply. And they want fast money and take advantage. Won't recommend Bally photo at all from my personal experienceThe price for D800 in HK shops seems to go to S$5-6k already. You can check it out at price.com.hk. Until the supply can meet the high demand, be prepared to see shocking prices.

Wow. Is this the case where demand far outstrips supply or is supply really that low to begin with?

cannot compare with Apple... that's consumer electronics... production tolerances are much lower so its much easier and faster to produce...Like canon 5dmk3 gd enough Liao. I even seen it in incheon airport Duty free shop 2 weeks ago. They get a few units only per shipment. Gotta wait for the supply chain to crank up faster. I wish Nikon is more like Apple in terms of rollout
