Hmm... sounds good deal but need to be aware of the recent issues reported for D800. Getting Malaysia set will mean going back to Malaysia to get those issues sorted if hardware replacement is required.

I think the Asian AF issue reported by Ming Thein is more serious: http://blog.mingthein.com/2012/04/0...th-some-comments-on-specific-lens-performance. Will wait to see that Nikon QC resolves this. Plus want to see what magic the D800E can do.

I think the Asian AF issue reported by Ming Thein is more serious: And the Nikon D800 autofocus saga continues (with some comments on specific lens performance) – Ming Thein | Photographer.

I can confirm that my D800 is suffering the same issue. The D800+14-24 focuses about 20-30cm behind the subject using the leftmost focusing point. It focuses perfectly with the centre and right points. Hopefully it is a firmware fix not a hardware fix that is required.

Update from me: went to NSC ysd to get my accessories, saw 2 person with D800 went to service counter complaining about AF problems :O

This is why i never rush and get one even though i'm dying to have one in my hand.

I have tried my D800 with AFS 16-35 f4, it's work well. I think the focus issue is just happen with some lens and some of the body in batch
