Aug Outing - Portraits (aka XMM shoots) photo sharing

Due to last night drink too much, cant really shoot well. Here's my humble contribution though:

I would like to applaud JK and Martini for initiating the portrait photography sharing session. The amount of equipment they have to bring and set up is not a joke. However I can see that all of us have fun and hopefully we can have more people stepping forward to share in the next few outings.

share some only hope i can pass for posting human works, so different from macro.

Submitting some of my home work..
Many thanks to Martini and JK for their effort to create this Model Shot outing. It ain't an easy task as they have to set up the equipments and also give us guidance on Strobist flash in tunnel and outdoor flash /reflector set up.

And also, thanks the Models Sharon and Rei Rei...

Would start off with some Pentaxians in my photos then the models..

5. Having a hard time getting a balance of lighting.. the side was lighted by reflector, but the other side shadows too dark.. Imran say try B&W will look nice.. gave a try, hope it look alright....

Ok.. now time to ask question. How would you remove the Tripod and flash from the picture?
For the below 8 & 9 photos, my tripod and flash is quite close to the model. I was thinking of square crop so it would be removed. Is there any other ways to remove or How would you all do it?

Too bad this was a rush job since we had to return to the resting stop to switch models and I had no time to get someone to use a reflector and check exposure.

Thanks for our pretty model Sharon for a tough job under the hot sun.

I actually got nice shots here, too bad the 2 tourists had to decide it was a good place to camp there too right after I set up the lights :angry:

This is my first time seeing all the Poisonous Portrait Lens gathering within a small group of people! (DA* 200/2.8, DA* 50-135, FA 77 Linimted, FA* 85/1.4, FA 43 Limited, Revuenon 55/1.2)! Really amazing.

Let's continue with few favourite of mine.
