Which model did you buy? Shures and Westone are known for their strong midrange. Can't be no mids one. Their 'lows' and 'highs' are their driver config. And where did u buy from? Maybe can ask for exchange.
Canew, MX550 is miles away from such earphones. :devil:

Yes, I know that. That was why I commented that the price of the earphones mentioned here are expensive. Once again, you get what you paid for.

Yeah.. and I'm beginning to hear MP3 artifacts more clearly.... I need a better MP3 player.. Or maybe switch back to CDs. ;p
i bought the se310.
yesterday i just bought the se420 and it sounds sooo much better.
now i'll just get the bose headphones for the sound isolation.
it can double up as a muffler for my niece when i bring my niece out and if she wants to sleep.

guys, i bought the sennheiser HD25-1 II.
i tried the sony MDR 7506.it's really really very very clear.was really impressed.
but sound isolation wise, definitely the senn will beat the sony.
you will immediately notice the diff when you put it on.
the senn also has a stronger bass.
price is $360.
now i have jacky cheung singing for me personally after my lunch.

so, which is senn's most highend headphones?
Currently(still in production that is) the highest end ones are the HD 650s, they are more meant for home use or recording usage as they need plenty of power to sound their best. Open style headphones, they sound very 'airy' with great clarity, however not for noisy places.

... reminds me of the time i went to the Atlas Hifi's showroom @ PS, they were played these cheesy track until i go sick of it - and my mom had to buy the CD .. talk about torture no lah.i wont go deep into this.

HD650 is open type and I don't think will meet her demands for isolation.. no? ;p
