why is it so unusual to have a group of lady photogs? i would think in "modern" Singapore, equality and respect of both sexes would be quite the norm.

i bet there wouldn't be this much action in a thread if it was a bunch of male photogs arranging an outing.

photography is supposed to be a fun activity, how would you feel if somebody kept following you around with a zoom and watching your every move? Not very nice... :nono:

Exactly! We are just discussing abt our outing here and once again, our dear oceanxp & Garion have to barge in & make some corny suggestion that they'll spy at us with their zoom lens! That in itself is an invasion of privacy, they don't even have to go into action! Duhz... :dunno:

first of all... welcome!

F80 is a very nice camera. best way to learn would be to use it and use it and use it.

take some blank shots (without film) to familiarize yourself with the controls and feel of the camera. study some pics to have an idea of composition and lighting, then shoot a few rolls, don't be discouraged, take your time and have fun.
