Used to be more, there were people paying 470-480 last time. But just like 3 weeks ago, i was quoted 465 brand new at AP, and you know AP price is like not low at all. Now with the price cut, now it will be lower. That's good for consumers.

Actually now a bit itchy hand to buy it again. :sweat: Good for tours.

if all goes well, meaning i dont get rash and run out to buy one in the next hour due to impulse :bsmilie: , then i most prob will be buying my set this coming sunday. will also be buying a 12-24 too hope to get a 2nd hand 70-200 or 80-200 before i go japan on 4th dec.

What I learnt from your lessons,... next time, when you want to buy something, just remember to hold back for 2 weeks, then you'll find that your are better off. :bsmilie:

Michael, we r in the same boat but then think of it, if we wait, we lose capturing a lot of "moments" that we can brag about ;p

agree...no point looking back....as long as one is into electronic gadgets/hobbies be it pda/hp/mp3/hifi/dv/dc etc.....one must be mentally prepared.
depreciation in value can be frightening.

Yep, they announced that the D70 was in development in December 2003. No details about specs though, just announced that they were working on it.

Paid extra $330 and took about 680 shots before I found out about the lowered price. Well, 50c per shot isn't TOO bad... not cheap though.
