[AT] Travel the World with my D800E

Nice series! So nice to be able to travel so extensively.

Yay, my 100th photo. This is the Reclining Buddha of Wat Pho in Bangkok, Thailand. It's a tight space to view the statue and there were many tourists; yet I set up my tripod amidst all the mayhem! All so that I could shoot at ISO 100, but I did patiently await my turn and didn't linger.

What's on the sleeve of his T-Shirt seems so out of place as this man kneels down in front of Erawan Shrine, Bangkok, a sacred place of worship, joss sticks in hand.

It was gale and rain when I arrived London. That's what I love about travel photography; unlike other types of tourists, I am quite indifferent whether it rains or shines. There are different things to shoot in each situation. So I went "underground" instead and shot some street culture at South Bank.

More indoor shots. Leadenhall Market is a hallway with shops, ornate and welcoming...though being in the financial district, it's quiet during the weekend.

The level of detail is gorgeous!
