Hi

Trying to learn taking astro pics. Here is my first few attempts.
Let me know how I can do better... especially with the post processing techniques

Photos taken in Mersing. :)

Looks awesome :)

Personally, might have made the shadows darker to increase the contrast of the background, and throw the foreground into silhouette? But that's subjective. Hope you don't mind, made an edit to show what I meant:

Nice..
Is that a time lapse photography? Wats the interval setting?

Hi Izzansdy
Depending on which photograph you were referring to on the star trails, the exposure time varies from 25s to 60s n can be taken over a duration of 2 to 3 hours. Hope this helps :)

Finally have some time for another posting... here's one that I took recently in Eldorado, Texas. Very good dark skies!
More to come when I post-process the remaining photos. I somehow cannot get rid of the vignetting. Any advise are welcome.

A night shot in Death Valley National Park. Unfortunately it was a full-moon night and the moonlight masked out the the Milkyway. So I turned to take what ever I could lay my hands on.

The trick is also to identify the weak Polaris, and centre it!

Well done!
