i find that the zoom is does not seems to reach very far objects
Flash is good for portraits, especially at night unless the environment is well-lit. Think F1 well-lit. For streets though, I prefer fast lenses as a flash is very conspicuous, and a flash going off even more so. Budget for it but don't rush into buying a flash for starters, the basics, like making full use of your camera, is probably more important. As said before, the more you shoot, the more you'll understand what you need, then you'll buy just that.
If you're into night and city/landscapes, a tripod would be a better investment.
ok.. looks like to best thing to do now is just to commit to a basic kit 1 package , then shoot like hell... the other kits should come in slowly after.
