Hi, i just got my 450D kit 1 yesterday with lenspen, canon bag, original spare batt, sandisk 4gb SD card for SGD1125 if u pay by cash, and u get a S$20 marina square voucher. Look for simon, he is friendly. Sitex is not cheaper if you are wondering. i went there and couldnt get a good deal there and went back to CP.

Where did you purchase from? CP at MS?

Why can't they gimme this sort of deal.... :angry:

dogbone, i think you might want to check with them again because they told me the SD card was reviewed to 8gb in the morning by canon

hey i got 450D yesterday from simon too! but he quoted me $1134 incl gst. good service from him though, and i got 8GB SD card too, like papaho mentioned. :thumbsup:

i think it's worthwhile to get from CP @ MS now because of the $20 voucher. my gf bought something before that and she got another $20 voucher, so i used her voucher for my 450D and my own $20 voucher from the 450D purchase, i used it to buy a dry cabi. seems like a good deal to me! :bsmilie:

i bought the body and lens in 2 separate transaction, then claim to diff voucher to off set my tripod.
So i got a free tripod

I'm actually willing to pay $1134 for his service as well. Very friendly. Got him to show me the basic functions of the camera. I actually give him a call the day before to double-check on the pricing. The MS $20 voucher definitely makes my purchase more worth-while. hee~ Will be using it to get the "cheapo" lens filter and LCD protector.

Still contemplating to get a dry cabi or not. Their cheapest one is 26L; $113 C&C. hmm....
