I was watching TV and heard Benetiz comments that he will go all out tonite :bsmilie:

Most probably we see them sit back, absorb the pressure, wait for chance and pump high balls to torres in an counterattack

We will see a dutch striker playing centre back again

GOAL GOAL GOAL FOR ARSENAL !!!!!!

Lost 4-2 to Liverpool but let not the score-line deceive you. We were very close ... especially when we scored the 2nd away goal but alas ... it wasn't meant to be ...

It was a great game and I guess we'll have to look to the next season ...

what's the point of playing good but lose the match? haiks... i find myself turning against AW more and more with each passing game.. we're now out of the champs league.. the EPL title was ours to lose and we have done so successfully

it's time for a clear-out... sendoros, eboue, bendtner, gilberto, hoyte, song, lehmann should start packing their lockers..

and pls, AW, stop being naive and get the chequebook out and bring in established players for next season! We need the pires, vieira, adams, seaman if we are to seriously challenge for anything.. i sick of being seasoned quarter-finalists..

if Flamini does leave, it'd be a big blow - i really love this player to bits after how he manages to stick with the team in previous seasons and took this season by the scruff of the neck and deservedly earn his place

If there's any nominations for Arsenal player of the year, my vote goes to 1. Flamini, 2. Fabregas..

Football is a cruel cruel mistress....

I think I will just switch off football for the rest of the week...

sianz....we won it...and throw it all away 2 mins later. we are getting too charitable nowadays arent we?

our defence really needs overhauling. no point our strikers score goals while the defence donates them back. i think time for sanderos to go. after so many years in the team his defending is still so bad.

looking at the bright side, walcott's run was amazing. he literally left defenders sprawling in his wake. man..that was really good to watch

... yeah including the manu game...

now go on and beat manure...

Champion league is medal is what matters to Arsene. :(

Agree, Arsenal should clear out inconsistent players like SENDOROS (esp), eboue, gilberto, lehman, bendtner...

U might not agree but I feel RVP and Flamini are also inconsistent.. and should go..

 sounds like the whole team need to be changed.. Hokay lah, just strengthen 1 more player in all the department (Def, Mid and Att). Current Goalie Almunia is doing ok.
Get a more reliable centre back and a more aggressive holding midfielder... and a proacher like Torres... :(
We really should have gotten Torres.

well, why not? i have confident in arse beating manure this weekend...:bsmilie:

To be honest, I have no confident at all. It's hard for players to get over such setback almost immediately

But I rather watch a beautiful game than watching them grind out boring 1-0 wins. No diff with George Graham era.

Disappointing to see the news flash on cna this morning. Oh well, there's alway's next season.
Hope they keep Flamini. They really need someone in defence and midfield with bite.
The defence has never been the same since tony adams era. Toure is good, but he's not aggressive enough, and hopefully we do get people similar to vieira, to get in the thick of action not afraid of challenges and dish the punishment.

well, wtching beautiful game of football is good but in years to come...everyone would like to see the team he/she supported win something and more...

I guess the fans still love the beautiful game approach by AW but it's not too much if we hunger more than that ... silverwares that is ...

Though I applaud AW approach to develop its own youth program and bringing in relatively, young unknown players I wish he won't depend solely on that approach .... let's have the best of both approaches; develop the youth and bring in world-class players (and yes they do come at a price) ...

Anyway, we'll be playing at Old Trafford later today ... hope we'll move on and have a good game! :)

looking at the overall season i think the team did very well considering we sold TH. in fact we were on course for the title until the birmingham game. i don't know how much of it can be attributed to the horrendous injury suffered by eduardo, but i noticed some players pulling out of tackles since that game. the way i see it, the team needs to improve in 2 main areas - defence and mental strength. anyway..let's see how this weekend's game goes. we are still in with a chance....although a very slim one.

1-0 so far so good for the 1st half... ;)

Manu U came from behind it beat us ... sheesh ... :bheart:

I guess now it blows down to a straight fight between Man U and Chelsea again ...

when we scored i just wondered how long before we donate back......6 mins. :(

why are we so bloody generous? thats like 4 games in a row we did that.
