On a different note, who else here is totally sick of Carlton Palmer and John "Budgy" Burridge, the pundits on FC27. Along with Morrison, they must make the worst panel of football presenters ever. John Dykes was a fantastic presenter and I could bear Sheby and the others too. This new lot in Dubai are just terrible.

dubious in dubai? :bsmilie:

Next game, playing West Ham @ the Emirates.

The hammers will love to claim the bragging rights to have beaten the top 2 teams within a week ... it'll be a good one, especially when Arsenal's only home loss since moving to Emirates was inflicted by them ...

Go Gunners!

Arsenal's second half revival could be due to the fact that the team didnt know of the westham manu result until half-time? ;)

With regards to the new FC team.... :thumbsd:

They should just hire John Dykes and forget the rest... esp Shebby :D

AW said Eduardo is like 'a young Robbie Fowler', this reminded me when AW tried to sign Robbie afew times but he choose to stay with Lpool and then went to Leeds.

Imagine a team of Robbie, Bergy, Anelka, Overmars, Petit, Adams, Viera... ;)

Wonderful result for all Gooners this week

It's tonight and we're playing the Hammers ... Eduardo is said to play a central role ... really hope he'll have a good game so that when RVP is fit to play again, Wenger will have a selection 'headache' which IMO is a good problem to have! :bsmilie:

Woo hoo! 2 goals courtesy of Eduardo and Adebayor settled the encounter! Sweet revenge for the Gunners indeed!

the team played well. both goals were very well taken  :vhappy:

Let's hope they keep up the good form, maybe wenger should buy some cover, injuries kena wrong time probably would make the team lose steam. Plus some furthermore two players would be on international duty?

eboue and toure. good time for hoyte to gain some experience. worse case maybe flamini can help to cover. hopefully senderos dun make any booboos ;p

I tot we can just rely on our "Carlington Cup" team? ;)

That team defeated a full strength B'burn. AW seldom buys players in Jan for the current season. He buys in Jan for Aug games. It take a player sometime to bed in with the Arsenal style of football. Unless you are Sagna (??) :D

Really doubt AW will bring in any new players during this transfer window unless he can fond real bargains ... next stop away to League Championship side Burnley ... they just lost 3-0 to Blackpool ... time for the youngsters to impress again!

It's gonna be the first team against Burnley, and the youngsters few days later vs Spurs in Carling Cup semis 1st leg.. and first team again back in league action..

AW made a promise to use only youngsters for Carlington Cup matches, including the final if they can make it.

Thats the only way the youth team can get any real match experience.

Btw, was anyone else here stunned by Adebayor's goal against Westham besides me? :D

Eduardo has arrived (10 goals in 19 appearances)

got any clips link on their goals? cant seem to find them on youtube, most been removed.

Adebayor's goal was crazy man ... heard so much about it and it's only now that I get to see it for myself ...

thanks!!

wah ade got lucky with that goal...i think he intended to cross for some trailing team mate, since he has beaten the keeper, and he was too deep to actually get a good shot. It just went in. Lucky devil! :bsmilie:

he was the only gunner up front so i dont think he was crossing for anyone. i think was more like just try and hope, or let it go out.
