Yeah, just bump on this thread. Can't wait for this weekend game..... Arsenal, please wake up fast...... To be the champion, we have to grab as much points as possible although we are not playing well. Just like chelsea and man utd did for last couple of yrs. A win this weekend will definately, boast the team morale and roll on...

December had never been a gd month for arsenal for last couple of yrs.....

A bit of sidetrack here, does anyone know where we can get Arsenal memorabilia e.g. scarfs locally?

We won 2-1 at home against Steaue (??). Goals from Diaby & Bendner in the 1st half

The knockout stages will commence in Feb next year so no point fussing who Arsenal will meet in the next round. What ever will be, will be :bsmilie:

Next opponent, Chelsea!

Will be goin to pub and watch.

Haha watch the previous match between gunners and the devils at robertson walk. One

top of the table again!!!

Great win for us last night and I think Terry got what he deserved - I think he should've had a red for a wild kick out at an Arsenal player after he had been yellow-carded for a reckless challenge.

Arsenal looked like they were getting back to their fluent passing style after the dismal performance against Middlesborough. Helb looked slightly sharper than Cesc but good to see both back.

What can you say about Gallas? He is leading the team like a man possessed and his leadership qualities are so much better than Henry's. When we are up against it, Gallas has shown the drive to get a goal. I think getting rid of Cole and getting Gallas in exchange was deal of the century.

Peninsula?

But nothing beats buying it outside Highbury on matchday, having pint after pint at the pub around the corner. Won't ever forget that day, never.

Let's hope the players will stay injury free ... it's gonna be tough weeks ahead ... ;)

...

Beating Chelsea will be good for morale. The last time we beat them, we were 'The Invincibles'... :bsmilie:

Btw its an unwritten rule that the England captain never gets sent off. Never. Arsenal did benefited from this 'rule' when Tony was captain :bsmilie:

Was overseas and didnt get to watch the game. Hopefully I can catch the replay ;)

Blackburn usually play very physical ... if they can handle the Rovers, it will truly be a clear sign of coming of age for the young Gunners ...

Go Gunners! :cheergal:

10-men Arsenal beat Blackburn in extra-time! Denilson was sent off after a scuffle with Savage (I guess) with Eduardo scoring a brace! Woo hoo!

Was it a physical game? like rough house tactics?

From the report it looks like a tuff match.

“Denilson lost his cool and we can’t say anything against the red card, but we found the resources to get the third goal,” Wenger said. “I believe very strongly in them [the young players]. Their quality is not questionable, but today it was more of a physical and mental test.”

We could get Spurs in the next round? :D

Seems like a VERY rough one...

4 yellows and 1 red to Arsenal and 4 yellows to Rovers...
