I heard about this guy who threw his grenade and shouted: "Pikachiu! I choose you!"

He obviously thought it was funny but his PC didn't....

:bsmilie::bsmilie::bsmilie:

wat happened to him?

I had a fren who failed his IPPT and SOC during his NS days, he suffered hell for 3 months, got tekan day and night, he was an total outcast. In the end they posted him out to some storeman job.

Recently saw him in a Audi and heard he had bought his second condo near orchard road. He is now a boss of a food supplier company. :thumbsup:

Never judge a book by its cover. ;)

He was quite a failure during NS, but successful in life.

But generally, the trend is that those who did well during NS are those who do well later in life too - this tends to be the majority. NS seems to be like an entree or appetiser in life - how well you cope with hardship, with new skills and stress, in dealing with people, leadership and so forth. I guess each and everyone of us who has gone thru' NS has learn something useful there.

At least for me, I got to know who are my genuine friends, who are those who take care of themselves, who are the sabo kings and so forth.
