Are You Planning to Sell Your Current Camera in Favour of the Canon 5D MK III?

Well I'm pretty sure we won't be seeing any of that amazing AF or fps from the 1DX. Hopefully we get an AF system close to the 60D because the 5D2's ancient AF is like from the 20D or something.

I will be happy enough if everything remains the same as 5D2 but replace the AF with the 60D one

Seems like there is no new rumors anymore. The current 5D was released in 2008 which is 3 years ago. I wonder what is keeping Canon from releasing a upgraded version of 5DMII. Is 5DMII really ahead of the competitors?

Unfortunately, the earthquake in Japan and the floods in Thailand have really hampered the Camera industry as a whole not to mention the entire electronics industry. In a way it is good for we as consumers... if they had introduced the 5D Mk3 last September, as it was widely expected, it likely would have been a lessor camera than the one which will eventually be launched. In the meantime, we can all enjoy the cameras that we have right now.
