Are DSLRs cheaper in Malaysia than Singapore?

They are cheaper. Also, warranty in malaysia for bodies. I'd say buy lenses there and bodies in SG.

I bought my flash from MSIA. It is more affordable compared to the street prices here in Singapore. Warranty wise I have to wait for them to send me some form to fill up to apply for warranty in Singapore. Been 1 week since I called to check about my warranty and still have not received it :dunno:

My friends who are staying in M'sia, come to S'pore to buy electronics.
They told me that many shops in M'sia does things the "Sim Lim Sq" way.

ya, malaysia is cheaper then S'pore. for D300s now selling at RM5300.
D700 at RM7600 , Canon 5D mark II at RM8600.
for D3000 only RM2050. but all are 1 yr m'sia side warranty.

I bought my 500d from shop in KL.
Price wise, almost the same as Sg's street price.
Canon Msia offer extend 2 yrs warranty (total 3 yrs) for body and lens, where Canon Sg free 50mm f1.8 as promo for online register.
since i am M'sian and use to go back often, i opt to buy in KL

U can go to JB Tebun City (theres a big Jusco in it)

Its the most upclass shopping center u can find in JB.

I just check the 5Dmark2 is $250-300 cheaper than singapore.
