April 2009 Pentax Outing - Suggestions & Registration

April 18 & 25 are out for me as I am away overseas.

Can I propose 25th instead? Just realise I can't go on 17th Wife is working on that day, and I can't bring 2 little kids along all the way to Ubin :dunno:

BTW, April 17th is a Friday...unless it is April 10th which is a Good Friday holiday

The Good Friday holiday might probably not be the best date as many of us may be involved with church events or parties or some might be away traveling due to the long weekend.

I'd like to propose 18th (Sat) or 19th (Sun) April. To me having an Ubin trip on a Saturday morning is best as it won't be as busy as a Sunday (according to my neighbour) plus it gives us time to recover (yeah I'm in serious need of a workout) and spend family time. Given that we'll need to spend a little more time traveling and walking around, I think it is easier to do so on a Saturday.

When I went cycling at Ubin, Saturday is best due to the crowd on Sundays & PHs.

Now which is better for us. Let's make our choice/vote:

1) Sat 11th

Just found our my wife is off on 18th, which means I can join you guys for the outing Thought I had to stay home babysitting ...

Yeah we plan monthly outings to get our photography fix and also for bonding. The Pentaxians are a real frenly bunch. You're welcome to join us. Every outing, there's always new members and the regular members make it easy to break the ice.

About the K10/K20, I suggest you keep watch regularly on the Pentax Buy&Sell forum. There's a K10D ready to be sold once in a while. K20D is too good liao, seldom pple will sell...unless to upgrade to the next flagship model.
