Ya MAN.....! Drooolllllling at the moment. Yep MAC is going to RULE the WORLD!

actually i wanted to get a zen micro but the 10 colors were all so lian looking. Somehow the color scheme was wrong. I currently owned a blue ipod-mini.
I then went over to the Apple booth and was so tempted to get the 1.2Ghz ibook and the Ipod photo.
Somehow, the ipod designs & curves seem so much more zen-like than Creative's.

As much as I wanna support our home-grown brand, I just felt that Creative's design team still has lots to catch up with Apple's.
I'm not an Apple fanatic but I have to admit that the wow-factor is still with Apple.

Too bad, Creative.... :(

When my current 2nd generation iPod 'dies'... I'll get another iPod without batting an eyelid...

When my current 1st generation flat-panel iMac 'dies'... I'll get another iMac without batting the other eyelid...

When my current Acer laptop 'dies'... I'll fly down to the nearest Apple Centre to get an iBook or PB... hmmm... mebbe I should 'murder' my laptop soon, just so that I could lay my hands on the iBook/PB ASAP.... ;)

Yup, Pro Image... Apple Mac RULEZ  :)

Depends on what you need actually. Infact ibook/PB comes with many softwares which is ready available for your usage. I think you will probably need a Photoshop CS which cost a bomb(almost the same price as the windows version), maybe Microsoft Office/Excel(if you do some paper work) which cost a bomb and that is about it. Nikon Capture could be needed if you need to calibrate your camera.

Depends on whether on which Laptop you are getting as iBook is optional with BT but PB comes with it. Bluetooth Device could be useful if you own PDAs, HP with BT functions and other devices like mouse.

But seriously speaking, most of the software which u need is inside the iBook/PB already. Try it and you will never ever turn your back on a PC anymore.

CS is too expensive ... am still not up to that level yet ... probably looking at photoshop element 3.0 and ACDSee  ??

If most of your exposure is spot on, I would say even a Nikon Editor or as you mentioned PS Elements would be more than enough. Trust me on this or ask any Mac users whether do they regret switching from PC to Mac.

Go to the Mac Forum and do a little more reading and ask them any question about how easy to use a Mac is.

Actually I just bought the iBook today... And I only bought the Adobe Creative Suite Premium(edu pack) and office(edu pack too), which I believe is useful to me... The rest of the software you can get them as freeware or shareware or it is already make available in the Mac...

If you wanna know how much I'd paid all in all... PM me... ;)

photoshop CS is a must. Toast titanium too. maybe dreamweaver. office 04. keynote.
