Anyone with working Kubuntu 8.10 CD?

Any gurus out there with working copy of Kubuntu 8.10 CD? Waiting 6 to 10 weeks for the free cd seems a long time. Had tried downloading a copy, md5 chksum checked, but unable to burn without errors - even with slowest speed - 4x. Tried burning 5 times. (tried different media make & different burner)
Heard that it can run Photoshop CS faster.

Kubuntu is linux. There is linux version of photoshop? or using windows simulation software?

yes, u're right... need to use Windows emulator - wine.

Yes, will definately try that option too.
but first, need to lay hands on the working copy of the Ubuntu / Kubuntu cd.

no, i only run ubuntu server with samba and webmin...

but i've tried the ubuntu graphical interface as well...
