Anyone upgrade from d7000 to D700?

I've done the reverse, and yet I consider it an upgrade. Why? Because I get extra redundancy with dual slots. And redundancy to me, is more important that having the 'benefit's of having dual FX cameras (those benefits don't really apply in real world situations anymore). Some people will never understand why I've done what I have, Bbt I'll let the photos speak for themselves. No one, I dare say, will ever notice between photos take with my previous D700, and those of my now D7000s.

Can't wait to annoy a whole bunch of people and their high-end bodies

If you think D700 is better, use your D700 to shoot and show you can take nice pictures with D700.
If you think D7000 is better, use your D7000 to shoot and show you can take nice pictures with D7000.
If you think iPhone is better, use your iPhone to shoot and show you can take nice pictures with iPhone.
The best is to enter photo competitions from local to international level and win a prize to show your camera and you can work wonder.
Or show us that you can sell your nice photos at very good profit.
Talk less, shoot more!

There are infinite reasons to upgrade camera body.
Everyone have their own opinion on whether there is a need.
Ask yourself how can a D700 help you obtain what you are looking for.
If it helps you and if you can afford it. Why not?

Im upgrading from D90, so for my case its the higher ISO usability. Not sure if D7000 is as good.

D7K is way better than D90. One thing D7000 does better than D90 and D700. Video. haha- sorry to troll.
