Anyone still doing or interested in Large Format?

OOU SEKSI!

Would love to see your cam fully set-up. ;)

Are you going this Sat?

SEHSI rite?

Saturday? When? Where? What? Who?

Got a few more shots, but haven't developed that roll yet (about 12-15 more shots).

hmm.. ok outing is set on saturday 15 aug..
guys i need your contact number for those who will be going for the outing
i guess we could meet at funan macs again.. probably around 3pm?
you guys have any suggestions on where to shoot? :sweatsm:

Count me in. :)

Perhaps we could meet a little earlier? Would be nice to have a drink and chat for awhile first and also see if anyone needs to make adjustments/fit their new camera stuff together. I'll bring my lens wrench along in case anyone needs.

1. DM - suggest somewhere nearby, quiet and peaceful so no one will disturb while we shoot. :bsmilie:

Join us when you can Ro-Ro. :)

Meanwhile, do visit us for updates. :sweatsm:

No idea where is a good place, and plus my pack of Ektacrome Professional Plus is at my friend's house at Yishun, which is like the other side of Singapore :/
Lazy to take ...

Take 135mm roll and cello-tape together! :bsmilie:

Just get another box lah ... can always refrigerate mah.

Or would you like to share a box of B&W sheets?

Alternatively, you could use my rollfeelem back and hoot 120.

B&W sheets no where to develop for me Q_Q, I has no brightroom.

would sunday be better since the last 2 outings or so were held on sundays?
if more ppl could make it.. would be better :sweatsm:

2. pisscok - anywhere on Saturday :D I'll bring EPP trans, anyone can use it.

I cook my own B&W. :bsmilie:

For me either Sat or Sunday ok, but prefer Sat. That way, can cook B&W feelem and reflect/rest on Sunday.

See which day more people free lah, but better hurry. It's already Friday!

Don't always need a large group to shoot LF. Sometimes, a smaller group is better cos can concentrate more and shoot more. Want to learn also easier. Large groups more shiok for TCSS! :bsmilie:

I still have no iddeeea if its Copal #0 or #1 or something else ...

Thom, I have a Fujinar-W 150mm f5.6 in a Siekosha-SLV (Sieko shutter...probably early version) and the cells are a direct fit in a modern copal No. 0 shutter. These cells have .95mm spacing (caliper measurement from outside edge of the cells when installed in either shutters). I did not check to see if my 150mm g-claron cells have identical spacing, but would speculate they do. Hope this helps. Jon

Should be okay ...
Seems to work fine, maybe a tiny bit sticky at the one second mark (like 1.1 seconds). Shutter speeds up to 1/500th

And found the board it was on ...

Horseman VHR 80x80

The stupid eBay description only stated Horseman board, I thought it would work with Sinar lolool

Some pictures of it -

Exactly what are you wanting to know Yoricko?

Size of lenboard?

Or

Size of shutter?

I hesitate to 'push' any information to you for fear of offending you as I sense that you're someone who likes to do things on his own with minimal guidance. A free or independent spirit. :)

If it's the size of lensboard hole size you want to know, simply measure the outer diameter of the threads of your existing shutter. A copal 0 is 34.6mm, Copal 1 is 41.6mm and a Copal 3 is 65mm.

As for the size of shutter your cells would fit, that's a somewhat more complex matter in case you were looking for a replacement shutter unit.

Best regards.

Hey guys,

If it's OK with you all, wanna meet up earlier say around 2pm at the cafe in Peninsula Shopping Center? Can have authentic kopi and IF anyone needs help setting up their equipment, it's easier to do it in ac comfort.

Aloy will be meeting us later at the actual location. Have suggested another place and Aloy's OK with it. It's an OLD church with very interesting shots.

Wonderful to see another exciting meeting coming
up at 2pm today. This is just the beginning of a long
journey for everyone.

We must have the courage and humility to learn
from everyone, get together with other
enthusiatic photographers as often as we can.

that help others go to another level
