Anyone Ordered from Adorama Lately?

I just placed an order but got an email stating that they don't accept credit cards issued in Singapore. Never had this problem before.

Wonder if it is due to a mis-match of my billing address (just changed it to an US address) and my credit card address billing adress (Singapore).

I did. Got the same email. But wrote back requesting for making an exception as I had previously ordered from them, and thus a returning customer with verified track record. They emailed me back saying they won't make an exception, yet another department proceeded to ship the product.

emailed them to cancel order liao! Guess I better inform my credit card to stop any charges billed by them.

Bought from Amzaon instead. Cheaper and somemore got free shipping + other discounts.

EOS 5D cost just about $3750.

just make sure u read the rebate terms and condition carefully.

best to have friends or relative in US to help u.

place order with your friends name so that invoice reflects his name.
Get your friend to send in your rebate documents in US registered post (try not to send directly from Singapore).
Then claim the rebate using his name.

Many webshops and individuals in the US refuse to ship to Singapore not really because of Singapore itself but neighbouring countries in this region gave them a lot of bad experiences due to credit card fraud so they just blanket black-list this region.

Yep. That's exactly what happened to my case. Except I didn't call the credit card company to block the payment.
