I just received my Tamron 1.4x teleconverter! Also bought for myself a Kata Photo Reflex C Ergo-Tech Camera Strap and it's worth every cent. No more inferior camera neckstrap for me!

Surprisingly the Pentax 50-200mm had no problems focusing (in bright daylight) with the teleconverter. Unfortunately no information is fed to the camera, so it doesn't take into account of the loss of aperture (eg. at 200mm it's f8 due to 1 stop loss, but on the camera it doesn't know and still takes it as f5.6).

Sounds like a very good buy :thumbsup: . How's the results from the TC... any visible degrade in sharpness ?
With the incorrect apeture info... is your camera able to set the correct exposure ?
Any feedback is appreciated
