hey bros!
I've noticed most of the shops now becoming a bit of an oligopoly: Meaning they seems to be colluding with one another to agree to increase the price! There is only 1 way to break this monopoly: We neeed to 'hup chap' here: All the bros here need to share which shop is offering really good price . Aka undercutting the oligopolies, and share it with other bros in cs, that's the only way to break the mono, oligopolies becos if we all support the shop/shops that offer cheap prices, their 'high price' monopoly will not be sustainable. Similarly, if any bros here wan to venture into parallel importing biz selling lens at cheaper prices, i first one to support: There's good biz opportunity to undercut these big boys, margins will not be big, but can make decent living wif volume: Give those shops some competition to bring down the prices... Heck in recessionary times like these, cost of production is coming down faster than the appreciating yen, all those talk about rising yen is marketing bollocks to try to change customer perception. Remember, japan economy has never been worse, they are in deflationary state and prices are dropping faster than its appreciation, and the jap central banks will never allow the yen to appreciate too much as it will affect their exports and competitiveness. My opinion from previous decade in finance. Down wif the lens prices shop owners!:thumbsd:
