what?!? i didn't think that some shops would do such a thing. Misleading you into stuff not needed won't be that bad; as long as you make sure you get your "new" camera and walk out of the store. when you say spoiled before and fixed, would there be any way to tell that besides the smell thing? For example, if someone buys the camera and sees that one pixel of the screen isn't working, they sent it back to the shop and the shop repairs it, means there's a possiblity the shop(a corrupted one) will repair it and "resell" it again?
I supposed you meant "World Wide Camera Centre" . The shop at penisular ba.
Hmmm. The time when i wanna buy 450D , when the price is around 1350 average at the reputated shops , then its going for 1180! Gosh its like such a good price. But i didnt dare to buy from it.. seems abit fishy.
Then my friends helped me googled the name, i heard got some complains about the shop.
Better do some reading and researching, least the short change you . =)
Dont suffer the same fate as ME =)

Where is John 3:16? Can't seems to find the shop when i visited funan last weekend. Despite people complaining Bally, i think they are one of the better shop. They offer the lowest price when i went and scout around. And they weren't pushy about their other products.
._.
They weren't pushy...yet.
I've seen, first-hand, how they managed to con a foreigner into paying the price of a Hoya HMC for a cheapo, unbranded filter.
John 3:16 is located on the 5th floor. #05-46.

what size diameter? the 52mm ones are heck of a lot cheaper than the 82mm ones![]()
Check the 'others' forum?
58mm HMC UV - ($25 - TCW)
And is there really a need to have (and respond to) 3 threads of the same thing on the same forum? :dunno:
but what do you guys think of hoya HMC filters though ?
It's a filter, for crying out loud. It's meant as insurance. HMC is 1 level lower in quality than SHMC. Basically slightly less light passes through (like, less 1%?) so the image has a chance of not having 'optimal sharpness'.
what filters do you use for you lens then?
b + w ? or tiffen ?
