You can call or SMS.. They provide COD too.. Or you can also try BnS
It will fit your kit lens.. You dont need a step-up/down ring unless your lens uses > 67mm filter. I have not tried anything small then 49mm so it should be safe if your lenses use 49-67mm filters.. But not all lenses will work without vignetting, depending on what lenses you have, you can check with them..

Dont really understand what are you talking. AF = Auto Focus? Auto Focus confirmation indicator when you turn the focus ring manually? Which mode are you in? In AF mode, focus ring does nothing. In manual mode, there is not AF confirmation indicator but focus peaking. In DMF mode + flex-spot, it will AF based on your focus point selection and give green confirmation upon focusing but once you turn the focus ring, you dont get any more green confirmation but you still have focus peaking.

Overall, you use focus peaking as your "in-focus area indication"

I had never mentioned that AF confirmation is a function of the NEX camera. My point is just to state that AF confirmation and focus peaking are two different things.

thanks for all the inputs - perhaps my question was badly worded - I should have used "focus confirmation" instead of "auto focus confirmation" whilst in manual mode. Focus peaking is probably a good substitute, but I've got to try it to understand how it works. DMF Mode + Flex Spot sounds interesting... but its getting a little more complicated, will need to read up more and experience this for myself. and I though I was coming "down" from a 5D+manual lenses to this!

Sony’s new Alpha NEX-5N takes great-looking stills and vibrant 1080p/60fps video, but many users have reported the audio is driving them bonkers. It seems that when the camera is moved, even slightly, it produces a clicking sound. A minor annoyance when taking stills, but it makes the audio track in videos pretty much useless.

Engadget tracked the problem down to the camera body itself. So this has nothing to do with the lens or anything external. There just appears to be something not quite tamped down inside the device. According to reports, this happens in all NEX-5N units. Sony has unofficially confirmed the issue to Engadget, but the company has not come out with an official statement.

I'd just got the 5N on Monday from eBay, ordered Friday and arriving on Monday morning, so fast...! Sadly, it has the video clicking issue, don't know what to do with this...

I bought online because Singapore doesn't sell body only. Ordered EVF, but they shipped it hkpost so will take a few more days.

No. The NEX-3 and 5 cannot use the EVF as the connector was not designed with sufficient power and data bandwidth.
