still have? I thought dis yr is the last allocation..

yes last allocation, but the dividend handouts will continue till 2008 ... my ERS is now my D70s :bsmilie:

the interest is really attractive ... minimum 3% + GDP growth of previous fiscal year

Hey, One other thing to consider is warranty when you are oversea. Although you get a kick ass notebook, but however good the notebook can be, it may just go down on you if you are unlucky. BMW also break down on the road!

Can be costly to repair if you do not have warranty. And yes insist on 3 years warrant if you want to buy a thinkpad!

Cheers

eiks,

NTU has a very gd offer for T43. not too sure if 1 student is limited to only one notebook purchase. if not u noe ppl in NTU, can try ask them buy for u.

i just checked, the Z series is very new but uses Intel Graphics Media Accelerator instead of ATI Radeon X- ... maybe not so much of a workhorse?

A confirmation from IBM website.

You can indeed upgrade its graphic chipset to ATI Radeon X600. You'll have to select the Z60m series.

There are so much laptop cheating scams at the universities lately. I am reluctant to buy from either institutions.

Remember to get 3 years INTERNATIONAL warranty since you are bringing it to Japan.
